No fuss

The Blue Crew sets itself apart with no fuss. We believe that on too many projects, legal, contractual and administrative processes get in the way of harmonious collaboration.

Teams

The Blue Crew distinguishes itself with teams. We strongly believe that deployment on an individual basis at both The Client and The Blue Crew is inefficient and ineffective. The Site manager directs the Foreman, whereafter the Foreman directs his own team.

Performance Delivery

The Blue Crew B.V. distinguishes itself with performance delivery. We believe that the client can achieve project milestones and their own business objectives only by recording, reporting, monitoring and analyzing the hours worked by the skilled workers in correlation with the materials processed. Therefore, The Blue Crew B.V. proposes to the client to jointly monitor the performance by collecting information and gathering and analyzing the collected data:

Skilled Workers

Foreman(s)

These are experienced mechanics or ironworkers who are capable of managing the team and are fluent in both spoken and written English (sometimes German). The foreman is always on the projectsite and is the supervisor of the other skilled workers and the permanent contact for the client’s project manager. The foreman ensures the safety, progress, management, quality and reporting of the team.

Tester(s) and commissioner(s)

These are experienced technicians familiar with all common installations in the built environment, industry and infrastructure (e.g. hospitals (large and multifunctional) utility and industrial projects, complex infrastructure projects (tunnels, bridges and locks, et cetera). From ‘cold-wire’ testing to commissioning and the required reports.

Chief engineer(s) and engineer(s)

Chief engineer(s)
These are experienced master fitters who are capable of installing and assembling panels and components (high-voltage, low-voltage, IT, HVAC) completely independently. They carry out their work independently based on installation drawings and instructions. We have skilled workers with ATEX-certificaten.

Engineer(s)
These are experienced fitters or novice master fitter(s) who are capable of assembling and connecting less complex panels and components (high-voltage, low-voltage, IT, HVAC), e.g. lighting, fire alarm systems, intercom, broadcasting, CCTV, climate ceilings, etc. They execute the more straightforward tasks or work under the direct supervision of a chief engineer.

Panel constructer(s)

These are experienced panel builder(s) capable of installing, assembling, and connecting (prefab and/or tailor-made) panels at the project site. If (one of) our Polish partners manufactured the panels, then the same panel builder(s) are deployed on the project site in the Netherlands, this is usually for a shorter period than the other members of the team.

Cable worker(s)

These are experienced cable workers or starting mechanics (some with and some without experience abroad), they work under the direct supervision of the foremen.

Ironworker(s)

Ironworkers always work in teams of two, usually one experienced and one less experienced ironworker. They do assembly work that requires little or no electrical knowledge and skills. For example, assembly of cableways, foundations, pre-fab elements (from the workplace), piping, fitting, air ducts, HVAC elements, etc.

Welders

These are experienced and certified welders who are capable of working completely independently according to different welding methods, positioning and materials.
